Angkor Stones

The faces of bodhisattva Avalokitesvara looks North, South, East, and West from its stone mountain-temple, in the dense Cambodian jungle.

The chants of ancestral monks, the dances of the apsaras, the celestial nymphs, and the horrors of the killing fields have paraded past that petrified smile.

The gigantic roots of the banyan tree, in its quest for anchor and nourishment, entwine themselves intimately with the temples creating a mecca for pilgrims of mystical stone places.
