Persia Stones
My search for ancient Babylon leads me to the grandeur of Takht-é Jamshid, Persepolis, the throne of a mythical Persian king.
The gentle themes of this summer capital was repeated carved in relief, with the symbol of a lion attacking a unicorn, depicting spring overcoming winter. Men from surrounding nations ascended the grand stairway bearing gifts.
In the shadown of these faithful subjects, I ascended the same stairway to the silence of the architecture of destruction by conquerors and time.
